Our first responsibility is for the health of our patients within the NHS. Certain other services are offered where a fee is chargeable. The following are examples only, there are others:
- Private Sickness Insurance Claims
- Various Medical Examinations e.g. Employment, Insurance.
Patient Fees for Non-NHS Services
We do not accept card payments, cheques or cash. If you request a non NHS service, you will be sent an invoice which you can pay by bank transfer.
Fees for non-NHS services can be obtained by contacting reception.
Transfer of care from private providers
We are seeing increasing numbers of patients who are asking for us to take over care that has been directed by a private provider. As an NHS GP practice, we are not able to provide ongoing monitoring (such as blood tests) or prescribe medication on behalf of private providers. This is a practice wide policy.
Any requests for ongoing monitoring or prescribing from a private provider will be declined and the patient will be advised to arrange the care or treatment via their private provider.
